Tithes and offerings

A 'tithe' is giving the first tenth of my income.

An 'offering' is anything I give in addition to my tithe.

Jesus said: "Yes, you should tithe, and you shouldn't leave the more important things undone either."  -Matthew 23:23

Therefore, we believe that the giving of our finances to God is an important part of the life of a follower of Jesus.

"The purpose of tithing is to teach you to always put God first place in your lives."  -Deuteronomy 14:23b (TLB)

Giving at CCC

"On the first day of every week, set aside some of what you have earned and give it as an offering.  The amount depends on how much the Lord has helped you earn."  -1 Corinthians 16:2

At the end of our service on Sunday's we pass around a collection bag.  CCC is fully funded by its regular attenders and does not receive any ongoing financial assistance from outside sources.  We think it's important for us to obey the teachings of Christ and give of our finances on a consistent basis.

If you happen to miss a Sunday service and would still like to give your tithes and offerings to God--you can set up bank bill pay service, utilize on our online giving option through Givelify above or mail a check to:
